Melanie E. Rijkers

Melanie Rijkers (Bakel, 1971) – I am an expert in  Eyespiration: viewing the world with pure, fresh eyes.

After receiving my BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) at St. Joost Academy in Breda, I worked as MeRy for the first two decades. As a photographer I have a particular passion for people, portraits, and places. Since 2011 I started working under my own name, taking on assignments worldwide focused on storytelling and event photography.

Eyespiration: Seeing Pure

My most popular photography workshop is the Eyespiration Photo Walk—a session designed to help you see the world in a new way. You can participate with smartphone or camera. It is a perfect activity for teams and groups, both in The Hague and far beyond.

For instance, this photo walk has been featured as part of events such as the San Francisco Writers Conference and the Kaua'i Writers Conference in Hawaii.

Creative Consultant

Sinds 2020, I work as a visual translator and story architect as well. I am a creative consultant for clients including government bodies, TU Delft, and the Red Cross.
